Successful Treatment of Facial Telangiectasias Using a Micropulse 1,064-nm Neodymium-Doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet Laser (Erfolgreiche Behandlung von Teleangiektasien im Gesicht mit einem Neodym-dotierten Yttrium-Aluminium-Granat-Mikropulslaser mit einer Wellenlänge von 1.064 nm)

Rose, Dermatologie, New York, NY Ziele: Bewertung der Sicherheit und Wirksamkeit eines Neodym-dotierten Yttrium-Aluminium-Granat(Nd:YAG)-Mikropulslasers mit einer Wellenlänge von 1.064 nm im Mikrosekundenbereich zur Behandlung von Teleangiektasien im Gesicht. Methoden: Studienteilnehmer im Alter von 35 bis 70 Jahren mit Fitzpatrick-Hauttypen I bis III und Gesichtstelangiektasien wurden zwei Behandlungen mit einem Nd:YAG-Mikropulslaser (0,65 ms) mit einer Wellenlänge von 1.064 nm unterzogen. Die Behandlungen wurden im Abstand von 30 Tagen durchgeführt; 60 Tage nach der zweiten Behandlung erfolgte eine Bewertung. Die Bewertung umfasste die Aufnahme eines Digitalfotos und eine Bewertung des Verbesserungsgrades auf einer Skala von 1 bis 5 durch den Studienteilnehmer und einen nicht behandelnden Prüfarzt. Ergebnisse: Zwanzig Studienteilnehmer (18 Frauen, zwei Männer) mit Fitzpatrick-Hauttyp II und III beendeten die Studie. Der nicht behandelnde Prüfarzt bewertete das objektive klinische Ansprechen als Gesamtbeseitigung (100%ige Beseitigung) bei 10 % (n = 2) der Studienteilnehmer, signifikante Beseitigung (Beseitigung von mehr als 50 %) bei 75 % (n = 15) und eine gewisse Beseitigung (Beseitigung von 0 bis 49 %) bei 15 % (n = 3). Keiner der Studienteilnehmer erhielt die Bewertung „keine Beseitigung“ oder „Verschlechterung“. In Bezug auf die von den Studienteilnehmern berichtete subjektive Beseitigung gaben 80 % (n = 16) eine signifikante Beseitigung an, während der Rest eine gewisse Beseitigung angab. Es wurden keine unerwünschten Ereignisse gemeldet. Schlussfolgerung: Mit dem Nd:YAG-Mikropulslaser mit einer Wellenlänge von 1.064 nm wurden Teleangiektasien im Gesicht mit hoher Patientenzufriedenheit, minimalen Beschwerden und ohne Nebenwirkungen erfolgreich behandelt.
