Rajeunissement de la peau sur les types de peau I à V à l’aide d’un laser Er:YAG pulsé de 300 microsecondes à 2940 nm en mode sub-ablatif

Les lasers CO2 et Erbium:YAG sont très efficaces pour traiter les rides et les cicatrices d’acné. Ces lasers ablatifs présentent un long temps d’arrêt et limitent les activités du patient. Ces lasers peuvent entraîner d’importantes modifications pigmentaires et s’ils ne sont pas utilisés avec une technique appropriée par des chirurgiens laser bien formés, ils peuvent entraîner des cicatrices défigurantes. En raison de ces limitations, on a essayé d’utiliser presque tous les lasers disponibles pour le resurfaçage non ablatif. Ceux-ci ont réduit le temps d’arrêt et le risque de complications, mais l’efficacité n’était pas comparable. Les lasers fractionnés ont été introduits pour obtenir le même type de résultats. Le laser fractionné non ablatif n’a pas produit la même efficacité que les lasers ablatifs CO2 ou Er:YAG. Cela a conduit au développement des lasers fractionnés ablatifs. Les lasers ablatifs ont été utilisés à faible fluence, mais en mode ablatif pour traiter le photovieillissement léger et les cicatrices d’acné. Cette étude vise à évaluer l’utilisation d’un laser Erbium:YAG en mode « sub-ablatif » où il y a un réchauffement du tissu de surface sans ablation. Dans cette étude multicentrique, 35 sujets ont été traités avec 3 passages en mode sub-ablatif. Les traitements ont été répétés 2 à 4 fois. Aucune anesthésie topique ou refroidissement de la peau n’a été nécessaire. Les sujets ont bien toléré la procédure. Les sujets ont ressenti une légère desquamation de la peau du visage, le cas échéant, pendant 2 à 4 jours après le traitement. La texture de la peau, la taille des pores, la pigmentation, etc. se sont améliorées. Il n’y a pas eu de complications, à l’exception d’un sujet développant une légère hyperpigmentation transitoire. Cette étude montre que le laser Er:YAG en mode sub-ablatif est sécuritaire, doux et efficace pour le rajeunissement de la peau du visage.
