Laser Skin Health for Skin of Color

Optimal Efficacy in Non-Ablative Laser Treatments
The 1064nm Wavelength is Unique

Neo can effectively target and heat the chromophores (melanin, hemoglobin) necessary for treating various skin conditions without the need for excessive heat, reducing the risk of burns, scars, and hyperpigmentation for skin of color.

Neo’s 650-microsecond Pulse Changes How Nd:YAG’s Energy is Delivered

The 650-microsecond pulse duration is shorter than the thermal relaxation time of the skin’s target structures. This means the laser energy is delivered so quickly that it doesn’t allow heat to spread to surrounding tissues.

Depth of Penetration is Essential

The 650-microsecond technology allows deep penetration into the dermis to target structures such
as hair follicles, sebaceous glands, and deeper vessels without excessive heat dispersion.

Unmatched Safety in Ablative Lasers for Skin of Color

The Era Elite utilizes 300-microsecond precise pulse technology that allows for controlled skin ablation with minimal thermal damage to surrounding tissues. This precision is particularly beneficial for skin of color, as it reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) and other thermal damage-related side effects.

Partial ablation of the skin. Can be done with deep or shallow pulses. Deeper pulses increases collateral damage, resulting in long bouts of downtime but improve skin better. More superficial pulses create less downtime with minimal results. Multiple treatments are needed to show results.

The Era Elite offers adjustable settings, including energy and pulse duration, allowing practitioners to tailor treatments according to the specific needs and responses of darker skin tones, thereby enhancing safety and effectiveness.

Full-field ablation replenishes all tissue of the treated area, plus microchannels with a hybrid fractional lens. Precise ablation with minimal thermal damage to the surrounding tissue ensures a comfortable treatment with quick recovery, which modern patients want.

Practitioner Testimonials

“This is a laser you should invest in because it can do so many things - it’s so versatile, and it makes every procedure you’re already doing so much better.”
Wendy Roberts
MD
“I really wanted a device that could target multiple skin concerns, whether it's pigmentation, redness, texture, brightness, collagen, all within one device and do it in a very efficacious way. That’s where Aerolase came in.”
Roberta Del Campo
MD
"Aerolase technology delivers its energy in a short burst. So the pulse width is actually pretty short and controlled and able to deliver the energy just enough to cause the effect that we want, deliver the heat that we want, but without collateral damage and causing hyperpigmentation to the surrounding skin - that's pretty key when I treat my skin-color patients."
